Apparently the blogger ran out of gas after he left his New York office and got halfway through PA.

So, they're all in New York and Pennsylvania.

OK, that seems legit.

My school district is ranked 87th.

Out of 115.

In NC.

On the bright side, the food is good. Ranked 3497th out of 3868.

I'm pretty sure we're all in a dead heat for last in the public school district race.

From the link:

quote:

Niche rankings are based on a combination of user reviews and education statistics sourced from the government and public databases. According to Niche, "a high ranking indicates that the district contains great schools with exceptional teachers, sufficient resources, and a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experiences very highly."

Sounds highly subjective to me. Not saying these are not excellent schools, just that their criteria for ranking them seems faulty.

This was the same "educational review website" (Niche.com) which compiled the list in this thread of top private schools in Nola & BR.
