Ok, I have read lots and I am still confused.

How are we looking for the next recruiting class? I mean, this past one was amazing and this one looks good but not top ten.

Who is expected to commit to us that hasn't already? 5-Stars? Any kids we think will change and come to LSU?

Please, anyone with insight, we could def use it.

Next year is loaded, and top end will be like 2014, and could be better with some OOS guys trending LSU's way.

I know, I keep hearing this but I was hoping to hear some names because the places I look, we only have a shot at one or two 5 stars possibly.

Can you be a little more obsessed about stars? Need I mention a few names to you? Gilmore...Herron, etc Then on the other end of the scale...Claiborne...Hester, etc. Here is what counts. You get players at the right positions who can contribute. Oregon is up there every year...Stanford most years...Kansas State every year under Bill Synder. Why don't you rattle off their rankings in recruiting over the years.

To see stars, go to the Planetarium! If you really believe that stars are the be all and end all in recruiting, then you are not comprehending recruiting at all IMO.

BTW, I'm reminded of a Frank Wilson approximate quote about 3 years ago I think. On some of LSU's signees not being that highly ranked, he said "Yeah, I laugh about the services' rankings. I know for a fact that they saw neither film on some of these guys, never saw them practice, never showed up at a game, and yet amazingly they rated the players. How do you actually do that?"

I agree that stars are not the end all be all but, it isn't jus something to be totally thrown aside. It's just another tool to use to indicate not just a player talent but his value based on position of need, how college ready they are and what they can develop into as far as becoming a pro prospect. And jus like any prediction it can be wrong.

Also, I like how people say stars don't matter but IK a lot people would go crazy if we were to sign a class full of 3 stars compared to on of 4 and 5's.

and look what happens when they play a quality SEC team...just saying.

I'm not sure if serious...but again....what exactly have they won?

There are 3 stars that became huge stars and go onto the NFL...there are 5 stars that bust....however, you go ahead and build your team with 3 stars......I'll take my team chalked full of 4 and 5 stars any day of the week and take my chances. Reel off all the teams that win national championships with average classes that finish out of the top 25....I'll hang up and listen.

put together a couple classes like this in the SEC, and LSU will be back to the 90's.
