One of the more known issues with Blake Sims is his lack of consistently effective presnap communication. I have a feeling lil Nicky will be doing everything he can to minimalize the effects the crowd will play on his offense. This includes implementing no huddle and communication attempts between players walking up to the line of scrimmage.

Tiger Stadium needs to stay on the edge of their seats ready to yell at a moments notice and YELL LOUD to squash their attempts. Especially when you see them trying to spread the play call around. Be relentless!!!

Ok, thanks for the heads up!

I'll print out 100,000 copies of this thread and hand it out on game day

Wouldn't that be pretty much every snap when Bama has the ball?

This, if we can get into his head we'll hand them their worst loss in years.

I really hope Bama is stupid enough to put the QB's phone to the press box out in the open like Ole Miss did. Apparently the East side fans were all over him the entire game and really got in his head.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh

Gasp

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh

One thing I noticed last game was that FINALLY people started yelling way before the snap. Usually most people don't start until 10ish seconds. This time it was with 25 left on play clock

Yeah, even on TV, you could tell how fricking juiced the crowd was. Really made me smile.

They also went apeshit when Wallace tried to do any sort of communication at the line. Turned it up to 11.

The OC/QB coach doesn't coach from the box, he's on the sideline.

you take that name of yours too far. I know you are a big Sabanista. Are you pulling a Skylar Green and pulling for the Gumps Saturday night?

I had no intention of yelling in the stadium until this post. Thank you for passing along this information

Either way, I really hope y'all leave the back of the bench open where the offense meets.

This is my system: start to clap and yell with at least 25 seconds on the play clock, even if they aren't running no huddle. Yell for 5-6 seconds, take a breather for a second, and continue to do this until after the ball is snapped. I do this for every defensive down and try to turn it up on 3rd and 4th downs and when the QB is trying to audible/make adjustments.

This is key. This is when the most important communication and preparation occurs for the opponent.

Someone should bring a handheld SPL meter into the game and give us a reading after the game

Completely agree. If you are yelling right before the snap, it's too late.
