Who wins this? Will we really have an 87 year old former governor/ convict as our Rep? I feel like the GOP has to be stronger when not divided among candidates

Just when I thought Louisiana couldn't get any dumber, they go and totally redeem themselves.

Garrett Graves will destroy Edwards. Count all the other votes that the other R's had and give those to Graves.

And it shows me that a dog could be elected if there was a D next to his name.

Gotta have them "real conservatives" get their 10% of the vote first. Better Edwards than all those Rino's, right?

How is Graves a moron? I'm not doubting you, I don't really know anything about him.

I would like to see the voter breakdown by age. My thought is that a lot of those votes were from people too young to remember when Edwin was last in office (so they are voting only by name recognition).

On the other hand, just because all of those people voted for someone with an R by their name doesn't mean they'll be moved enough to come out and support a candidate in a runoff they purposely didn't vote for in the election.

It's Graves' race to lose, but I don't think it will be quite the bloodbath many believe it will be.

I'd rather vote for Todd Graves.

That's where you should start. Berms and freshwater diversions. Former coastal advisor and later CPRA head who has no practical background for being either. Simple frontman for Bobby with no talent or ability to be anything other than a political puppet.

Not saying I prefer Edwards. The thought of voting for either turns my stomach.

While I mostly agree with this, I think it will help that a lot of conservatives will be voting to remove Ms. Piggy. If they show up to defeat her, Edwin will lose big.
