Alan Dunn said he’s never entered #LSU preseason practice with completely healthy staff - until now.

Thank you. It's nice to have someone to talk baseball with.

I believe LSU will make out better than most other teams. We'll benefit on offense from the added HRs and balls hit into the gap.

But on defense, our speedy outfielders will still be able to run down a lot of the bloopers and many deeper balls in the gap.

I say it will be a net advantage for us.

We don't have a go-to guy like Nola this year, but overall, our pitching staff is much better top-to-bottom. Just need to get our freshmen up to speed quickly.

Watching our sunday starter only go 3 innings annoyed me. I hated throwing every reliever we had in place of an actual starter.

Any word on whos emerging as the two other weekend guys?

I'm really hoping we get to see what reynolds can do if he's 100%.

I liked reynolds a lot but he has been hurt for like almost 2 years. I would prefer him out the pen or at least midday guy at first until he is back up to his form he was as a freshman.

Assuming Poche keeps a weekend spot (and I'm expecting him to start Opening Day), it'll probably be two of Godfrey, Lange and Latz as the other weekend guys, although it'll be a few weeks into the season before we get a solid rotation.

Is stallings in contention as well or is he projected to be out the bullpen?
I liked the way he looked the other day. Lots of life on his fastball.

I agree. I'd like to see Norman develop into that nasty closer. I'll explain why in the preview.

Norman is the one with the awkward windup right?

Out of curiosity, is his stretch also funky?
