A wise man once told me...
When you're in Omaha against a good team and a good pitcher dead bats and balls, you know it's going to be a low scoring game and you take runs when you can. It's okay to bunt in the 3rd inning up by 1. Especially when your best hitters are slumping.
Also, if LSUTygerFan a real rocket scientist, TeamBunt wants to be just like him when he gets older.

A firm schedule has not been set for weekend yet but there certainly will be Saturday afternoon

I used to ponder that very question. The wise man would answer with...
Most of your hitters should be able to lay down a bunt more often than not.
I would agree with him and add that if they aren't getting the ball down, you might try bunting at practice more than just off of a pitching machine because in the real games, the pitches aren't always straight down the middle, and sometimes they curve.

Sounds like they're having scrimmages on the same schedule as games during the season. 3 weekend scrimmages, and then one midweek.
