Just saw that FIVE of our SEC series this year are Th/Fri/Sat series. That's half. I've never seen a team have near that many. And four of the five are road series.

I think the last series before the SEC tournament is usually Thu/Fri/Sat, but for the others, I wonder how much of it is because of SECN coverage.

We play a midweek game before each of those away Th/Fri/Sat series. I'm looking at this from a players' rest and routine standpoint and not from a fan's enjoyment standpoint.

the good news is that we have 2 of them back to back, with the latter being mississippi state so there will be normal rest going into the MSU series.

Of course. But that also means we have 4 out of the 10 SECN/SEC Game of the Week match ups opting into the Th/Fri/Sat format.
I'm not against that format. I think it's good exposure for the schools and the conference. But 4 is way too many.
