Not sure Conger brings anything better than Corporan.
I guess this frees up Corporan and Stassi to be moved. Bring on some bullpen help please.

I don't think tropeano will be more than a 4 or 5 guy at best.

It sounds like he's a top 5 defensive catcher with a hole in his swing. I'm not really sure how I feel about this trade yet. I think Nitro is a future bullpen guy and Perez isn't wowing anyone at AAA...

I agree. I'm not overly concerned about the 'talent' that was given up for Conger.
I'm just wondering what this does to the Castro, Corporan, Stassi mix. Two of them are gone -- who will it be?
I wouldn't be surprised if they move Castro. I would rather they give him at least one more year. But if they could pull some top-notch bullpen help, I wouldn't be heartbroken.

I read somewhere that Conger is of Korean descent, and this was obviously a way of luring one of the 2 prized free agent Korean pitchers. That's a bit of a stretch.
