It depends if you believe what it is coming out of 'BAMA's practice reports. According to them, he is getting ready to play. Therefore, who knows........

I had the same surgery my senior year in high school 4 years ago. I was back id say probably 80% in 3 weeks.

I hope so... As someone mentioned on high ankle sprains. You can run up and down a field all day long. Its when you have to side step that will be a killer.

It could be an advantage for us if he does play

Unless they have lied to mislead everyone on the severity, there is no way he would be 100%. If they force him to play, it screams that they have no faith in their backups. Either way it should be an advantage.

this is win-win for LSU.

its rarely a good thing when a freshman starts from day one, especially when you've bought players i mean recruited like bama has, and even if he can play theres zero chance he'll be 100 percent. every step he takes adds 5 minutes to the time its gonna take him to fully heal. the fact that they think he needs to go now, instead of getting healthy for Miss State, Auburn, and a possible SEC CG, speaks volumes.

in fact their LT, C, and RT are all hurt, Yeldon still doesn't practice and Ragland (starting LB) broke his hand in practice and had surgery on it yesterday (though is still expected to play). its weird that they need all these guys so desperately.

but of course heres a reminder as to what happened when their center got hurt against ole miss and his backup came in

Change that to "would" with Hunter's ability to sweep past the tackles even when they're healthy. That's why I doubt he plays. If he does, it pretty much tells me his backup is weak. They'll have to wind up backing him up with a TE or FB if he does play.

C Robinson walked out of the WM game Friday night in front of me. No limp, looked and walked fine.

Isn't that how high ankle sprains work? It's the lateral motion that is the problem with another 300lb monster pushing on you. Just because he's walking without a limp doesn't indicate he's 100%.

That's why these injuries can continue to linger for an extended period.
Cam Rob is no joke, but 1 studder step from him and Hunter has already blown past.

Does anyone know if D. Henry is hurt? I watched Saban's press conference yesterday and a reporter asked him about his conditions.

Saban did not like the question being asked

I hope he plays if he is ready. I hope they aren't dumb enough to stick him out there if he's not fully healed.
