I got a flat tire and Discount Tire won't have my tire in for like 6 hours. I was going use it and drive straight there, its like 2 miles away. My question is if I use it now should it last for 6 hours, with about 3-4 miles of driving before I leave to get it fixed.

Depends on the hole in the tire. As long as you have pressure in the tire, you can drive it indefinitely. If it was a small enough hole, the fix-a-flat may seal it up for good.

I was told by tire experts that fix-a-flat was a terrible thing to put into a tire. Use spare tire if available.

I think you are good for a while yet. It's not all the way down, there's still plenty of air left in the middle and top of the tire.

Even if he has a spare, why would he go though the trouble of changing the tire if the fix-a-flat will get him there?

Lesson to all OTers. Don't brag about ya Benjamins and then get on here buying a tire from a place called discount tires, don't have a working spare, or afford a quick tow.
