The technical foul called for hanging on the rim was a BS call. I forgot who was the Pelican's player that stole the ball and took it full court for the slam only to be undercut when he went for the dunk.

After the technical foul was called, there was a momentum swing and the Pelicans could never recover.

I also would like to say Monte Mathis is an a-hole

That was the right call. Reke didnt have to hang on the rim, Parsons wasnt even close to him.

Meh. He probably didn't need to hang on at all, but Parsons got under him pretty quickly after. Hardwood Paroxysm thought it was a bad call.

Lester you may be correct but from my seat it appeared the Pelicans player was forced to hang on the rim.

he didn't have to hang on the rim, but Parsons was under him. he could have fallen on Parsons instead.

it was the pull up he did that got him the tec

it just looked like he was going to hang regardless. Parsons was late getting there, of course eventually he ended up near the rim. But he was far away when the dunk took place, and to me it looked like Evans had already made up his mind to showboat

I think he was as surprised as the rest of us when he got enough lift to dunk and decided to relish it a bit too much.
