If Landrieu really is that tight right now, the usual New Orleans shenanigans could very well get her re-elected.

Nate Silver has a better than 2 out of 3 chance the Republicans pick up the Senate and his gubernatorial projections look similarly rosy for them.

Yeah I agree with this. I can see Dems picking up 1 or 2 governor spots.

I'll go with GOP picking up 1 or 2 seats.

There will be a bunch of close races so I can see it going anywhere from R+2 to D+2.

The Des Moines Register has endorsed Bruce Bailey, oops, I mean Bruce Braley.

Earlier in October, their poll showed Ernst with a 47-46 lead.

Just 30 minutes ago, they released their own final poll - showing Ernst leading 51-44.

To reach 51, I believe Kansas and Iowa are the most important states for the Republicans to win.

Orman called Romney, Rand Paul, Bob Dole and other campaigners for Roberts "clowns" this week. That could be the gamechanger that the Republicans have needed there.

It doesn't matter. I remember when the R's controlled the President, House and Senate and you know what? Nothing happened.

I remember when the D's controlled the President, House and Senate and you know what? Nothing happened.

You are getting your hopes up for nothing.

Only the Affordable Care Act and the boondoogle Stimulus Bill, for openers.

Yes, I am getting my hopes up (cautiously to be sure) - but certainly not for nothing.

Got a friend that is pretty good at projecting these races that agrees with those 2 states being pivotal.

He is from KS and doesnt particularly like Roberts but here is what he has going into today:

MT: Daines +16
WV: Capito +20
SD: Rounds +11
AR: Cotton +8
AK: Sullivan +3
CO: Gardner +1

IA: Ernst +0.5
KS: Orman +1
NC: Hagan +2.0
KY: McConnell +7
NH: Shaheen +4

Thats 51 before the runoffs so not much interest by the Dems in the runoffs.

Landreiu +6
Runoff: Cassidy +7

Nunn: +1
Runoff: Perdue +4

Except that little thing called Obamacare.

Thanks for putting your stupidity on full display for everyone to see. No wonder you're voting for Landrieu.
