Interested to see where they rank us if Ole Piss loses

I see no reason why they would be ahead of us at that point. But that may well still happen.

Exactly. But they would have lost to the same team we lost and us with the same losses as us and yet still ranked ahead of us. This new ranking system is bout to get challenged. Big time.

It's complete BS. People will be pining for the BCS before this year is said and done. The BCS had its flaws but transparency was not one of them.

Yup.
We exchanged a relatively imperfect but transparent system for a completely arbitrary and even more flawed system with even more human bias. I fail to see why we couldn't just use the old BCS formula to rank the top 4 and get your playoff that way. Oh well...

The WAY LSU lost to Auburn is what is hurting the ranking.
Ole Miss would have to lose to Auburn by 20+ to end up ranked below LSU with the same number of losses.

I agree but I'm afraid the committee will somehow not see it that way (if OM loses)- unless they get beat badly.

I've said since the announcement of the committee that it was going to be an absolute clusterfrick. That will be the case until some set criteria are put into place.
