Predict our committee ranking next week

I say no change. Even with losses ahead of us, the committee will penalize us for being idle.

Probably move up 1 or 2 by transitive property. If Florida wins I think we are ahead of Georgia. We will jump ASU or Utah by default. Might get passed by WVU. But overall I think a small rise.

A small rise if anything. Something big would have to take place from one of the teams below us to have a negative impact and a drop in rankings.

Hopefully they will take a little closer look at strength of schedule......Wisconsin, Auburn, State, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Florida, all with winning records...and hell, ULM almost beat Texas A&M...haha

i think #15 partly bc press was pretty vocal about how undervalued the team was in that ranking.
rationally, LSU right now is a top 5 team. but the auburn loss hangs on us.

I don't care, it is still a joke that Oklahoma is rank ahead of us, they do not have a single quality win. We have at least 2 quality wins in Wisconsin and Ole Miss. Oklahoma has lost to the only 2 ranked teams they played. We have 7 win, they have 5. The only reason I am not mad about it is because our team is coming together quit nice and we are in great position to make a run at things next year. Unfortunately, even if we win out this year, some 2007 type crazy things would have to happen for us to make the playoffs this year.

Well it is patently obvious that they completely screwed the pooch and did not do their research in ranking LSU at 19. If they have their heads out of their assholes, they should move us up AT LEAST 5 spots. Won't happen, but that would be the correct thing to do.

don't forget the bama factor.....the media will want LSU ranked higher since Alabama is playing them this week. Hopefully the comm members feel the same way.
