Pacific Rim and Godzilla Crossover Coming?

Oh, I hope not. Godzilla was ok, but I loathed Pacific Rim.

The action was fine, a little too cartoonish, but the characters were so shallow and uninteresting and the story was so ridiculous. I tried to like it, I tried to defend it at first. And then, the more I thought about it, the worse and worse it got.

Oh, part of me definitely would be, I'm just wondering/worried about how they're going to do it. I love me some Gipsy Danger and I love Godzilla so I don't want to see them fighting each other.

And there better be a Gipsy Danger 2.0 or something in there.

While i really liked Pacific Rim and I thought Godzilla is alright, uhhhh how could they work? That would be my only beef. What I like about Pacific Rim is that it set up this whole new world, I thought 2 could either be a sequel or prequel, there's a lot they could do. I just don't see the timelines meshing well....





That is unless the undersea portal eventually leads to another dimension, and the world with Godzilla is in need of some Jaegers. I thought of that whole typing this post that sounds relatively plausible.

It really is a ridiculous critique of the movie. Character development and complex plot was not what the movie was made for, and it is not what any rational un-pretentious person should have expected out of it.

On the subject of the thread, I just hope this isn't a bullshite rumor. Would be so sweet. I can only hope that we get more Godzirra than the latest movie. I just want an 1 1/2 to 2 hours of straight robot fighting giant lizard.
