PSA to parents on Halloween: Don't walk with your kids in the road

Some of the dumbest people I've ever seen are parents who insist that they and their children have the right to walk down the middle of the damn road on Halloween. I've seen several cars have to blow the horn until they get out of the way.

You guys must live in white trash neighborhoods.
The kids out here all dress like Queen Elsa, Katness Everdeen, zombies, or Spider Man....and they all use the sidewalk.
Even if they didn't, it's okay. It's Halloween and I'm not on the road. I'm in my house.
