Sweden has officially recognized Palestine

This follows the non-binding recognition of Palestine by the UK Parliament and heated relations between the US and Israel after a US official accused Netanyahu of being a coward, bringing the relationship between the allies to the lowest point ever.

It really irritates me that people disregard that Christian Arabs are also Palestinian. There are a handful of Arabs in the Holy Land that will admit to being "Israeli," and politically can't legally claim to be "Palestinian."
This really isn't difficult to understand, but Christians made up a pretty significant portion of the population of Palestine before 1948 (15-20%). Today the number of Christians is less than 2% of the Israeli population.
The point is, our Christian brothers and sisters in the Holy Land are Palestinian as well.
I think it is good that Palestine is being recognized by other countries. Israel is becoming more and more of a liability for our government to support as they become more and more right wing and governed by racist bigots.

Where will Sweden put its embassy? I'll wait to see what sort of concrete steps Sweden takes rather than meaningless symbolic gestures.

The problem in Sweden is that if you even suggest curbing immigration you get labeled racist and a Nazi. Also, they've passed some sharia laws.
