Not sure but I hate my monarch. Everyone else with one loves it.

Lense coatings, nitrogen purging, quality of glass, number of lenses, etc.

I have a buckmaster, it is the worst scope I have ever had on a rifle, I am changing it out this year.

I have never used a scope regularly other than the simmons that came with my savage. I like seeing people complain about these scopes every one I've looked through is better than mine

Prostaff has worked well for me. If you're in the market for a new scope take a look at Vortex.

Stay away from that cheap arse Terra and you'll be fine.

Monarch is tops (related to wiltz's comments) of the three you mentioned, followed by the Buckmaster and then the Prostaff.

I have the Prostaff 50mm on 2 rifles and the Monarch 40mm on a little 44 mag Handirifle. I've been plenty satisfied with them. But I've never owned a high $ scope, so I wouldn't know the difference.

I use a monarch and it is decent although I had to send it back because my side focus broke. I borrowed a Zeiss, and although the glass is good, eye relief is the worst I have experienced.

Not sure but I know I had problems with buckmaster and sent it back, I just got a brand new pro staff 5 comparible to the buckmaster - great customer service about a 2wk turnaround from the time they got my damaged scope, guessing they don't make the buckmaster line anymore.

I looked at all of them a few months ago and really studied the Monarch a while, but ended up going with the Meopta MeoPro and couldn't be happier.
