With no opponent this week, I have no sense of urgency in analyzing anyone or anything.

Sunshine Pumpers are out crowing from the rooftops. In my opinion, it's not cool.

Perhaps they can redirect their energies to ranking Rant posters in the spectrum from Negative Nellies to Sunshine Pumpers.

The guy that has been pumping up Jennings all year complains about sunshine pumpers? Mighty confusing.

I agree, we need more negativity in here. It's absurd when people get excited about LSU football.

:smh:

Let me explain it in simple terms to you. I provide analysis of facts. Sometimes the analysis results in a positive opinion. Sometimes the analysis results in a negative opinion. I defend the analysis against morons with no analysis.

I try not to view the board from a Meta-Analytical standpoint; I try to avoid framing the issues as NegaTiger vs. PosiTiger. Some do.

I don't think that framework is helpful. Threads or posts, devoid of analysis, that simply state that one group is better than the other are not helpful or cool.

Understand?

I have absolutely no problem with people getting excited about LSU football.

I personally tend to the positive side.

I just don't think internecine warfare is productive. Crowing by Sunshine Pumpers is not cool; it just inflames NegaTigers. The same is true when NegaTigers crow. It's not helpful or cool.

No you don't. Jennings has not improved, and was certainly not efficient. You cannot point to any statistic to back that up.

No, you spin things prop up mediocre QB play.

"Irony," thy name is CptBengal.

No wait, that's "Idiocy."

I didn't make up any numbers, I made one error in transcribing a table full of numbers. The error was negligible; it didn't alter the analysis; I immediately acknowledge the mistake; and I noted the mistake several times in the thread.

You want to talk about your thread? You remember, it was complete bullshite replete with errors and bias. You don't want to talk about it? I understand why.

By the way, whatever happened to your proposed analysis that was going to allow you and others to predict Miles' playcalling?

Too bad Freeze couldn't get your analysis for LSU's 95 yard drive last Saturday. Dumbass.

Speak of the devil. It's like magic. By the way, I love all of the analysis in your post.

several of the numbers were wrong. You even knew it to begin with, so you didnt even provide a link to them

It's ok, everyone remembers.

You mean the one with actual numbers, links to the numbers, actual confidence intervals, and listed assumptions?

That's how you are SUPPOSED to present an analysis (oh and by the way it''s analysEs of facts, you see you used the plural "facts", fricking clown).

I have actually been doing other things, I will get to it at some point. The data is only going to get richer for me...

Now you on the other hand are struggling daily to make JJ2.0 look like some sort of heisman candidate.

They knew LSU was gonna run, they couldnt stop it. Are you that simple minded you dont know the difference?

I did analyze your OP. There was no substance, no analysis, no nothing. Therefore it resulted in laughter and derision.

I'm sorry you dont even understand you just boomed yourself, it's quite pathetic.

Jennings has improved. He's improved in short passes. He's improved in touch passes. He's improved in reading defenses. He's improved in avoiding sacks.

The title of my thread was: “Jennings is Effective and Improving " I didn't say he was "efficient" in the Ole Miss game. The point of my thread is that Jennings' performance kept Ole Miss from stacking the box. His performance was "effective" enough to prevent Ole Miss from employing schemes to stop LSU's rushing offense.

No, you spin things prop up mediocre QB play.
Did Ole Miss inordinately stack the box against LSU?

Simple. One can identify people with bias without being biased. Moreover, I don't find it helpful for one meta-group to battle with another meta-group. Internecine warfare is not helpful.

50%, and two pics. How is that improved?

Wrong e word, my bad. What was effective about him handing the ball off 12 straight times on the game winning drive? Anyone on our roster could have done that. You give him so much credit that isn't particularly earned.

You are biased against people that call mediocre QB play what it is.

Two numbers were inaccurate. I corrected them. I didn't link the numbers because they were my calculations from my spreadsheet analysis for four games. The underlying numbers themselves are readily available. And your inaccuracies in that thread far exceeded my minor transcription inaccuracies.

But hey, I've got nothing to hide or be embarrassed about. I acknowledged my inaccuracies.

Now that's funny. Yes, the OP in your thread looked very pretty. However, the substance of the OP was crap.

You seriously overestimate the value of anyone's threads on the Rant. I doubt many people remember those two threads.

How about I just post links:

My thread suggested that LSU was going through growing pains during the early part of the season: More Growing Pains: First four games for an LSU QB

Your thread suggested that the box remain stacked against LSU: Predictability of LSU on Offense since 2008 - Why the box is stacked
