Meanwhile my mic quit working and controller right analogue stick started drifting up even though it is still centered....seems to be frequent problems with others but Microsoft wont admit to error

BS, I'm going to have to spend 1/3 price of a new system to replace broken accessories

They likely don't want eat up the Sunset Overdrive bundles sales, so they are waiting to announce one in the US.

If you like white consoles and are seriously considering picking one up I strongly recommend getting the Sunset Overdrive bundle. The game is great.
