Trying to better yourself is never trashy.

No, but it's full of retarded middle-aged fricks who ask 1,000,000 questions a day in a freshman econ class.

Why would it be trashy?

I would think nowadays more opt to go the online route....unless they need that classroom structure to be able to focus.

After watching Don Jon I feel like it is indeed a bit trashy.

By the way, that movie sucked.

Was going to post something like this. It has been 10 years, but I can still remember the 40 something year old mother who spent most of the poli-sci class every week talking about how her genius son turned down harvard to get a job right out of high school.

Online college is trashy.

And by trashy I mean a waste of time.

a waste of time is getting a degree in kinesiology. no offense to the night school guy in the other thread trying to better his life or whatever.

Depends on what it is for. I know many nurses that did online classes while working full time to get their BSNs and Masters. Many hospitals demanding all their nurses have at least BSN so you have many going the online route. I'll be doing that myself pretty soon.

Middle-aged people in undergrad classes are the worst. I would rather take a hard class with a bunch of 18 yo pledges than 40 yo house moms.
