So is it Captain America 3: Serpent Society or Ap 3: Civil War?

Clue a non-comic reader in, please.

It is Civil War. Serpent Society was apparently a joke.

Civil War. OP Edited.

Apparently it's over, Q&A with Feige and the Press. No Strange casting or Spider-Man news.

But BP and Danvers? That's big stuff.

They might have the Serpent Society, as opposed to the New Warriors, be the ones who initiate the Samford Incident.

I expect the DC films to do a whole lot of tap dancing around this schedule.

I know they're introducing more characters, but for it to truly be a Civil War, doesn't there need to be a lot of super heroes? Otherwise it's just a big Civil Battle.

I think what's slightly interesting, especially concerning BP and Captain Marvel, is that that is EXACTLY what fans have wanted.

I don't think two properties have garnered more support since all of this is started. So either Marvel knew all along that fans would crave those specific properties...

Or they bent at least a little to the will of the fans and fit them squarely into their plans. Either scenario is intriguing.

Here are some wild guesses:

-Since Guardians comes out right before Thor:Ragnarok, I'm guessing Angela Odinstotter makes a cameo in one and has a big role in the other.

-Marvel has said that they are going to lessen the amount of backstory in the Phase 3 films. That tells me that they will utilize both Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix Defenders series to introduce them

-Carol Danvers will be shown in at least 2-3 films prior to her solo film

-The Inhumans will be everywhere between now and 4 years from now

No studio has ever had their collective shite together more than Marvel. The amount of planning and scripting to make this many titles work together over a course of 10+ years is absolutely amazing.

I may have missed it, but is it official that Captain Marvel will be the Carol Danvers and not the original (Mar Vell)??

You already have:

Iron Man
Captain America
Hulk
Falcon
War Machine
Black Widow
Hawkeye
Scarlet Witch
Quicksilver
Winter Soldier
Daredevil
Luke Cage
Iron Fist
Jessica Jones
Deathlok
Mockingbird
Vision
Sif
Ant-Man

in play in some form or fashion before Cap 3 comes out.

You could easily have She-Hulk, Wonder Man, Quake (if that's who Skye is), Punisher, Ghost Rider, Red Hulk, Wasp, and several other heroes in place even if you didn't include the Guardians.

Yes. I'll edit the OP quickly, then I'm out for a bit.

Cap 3 is going to have to be a 3 hour movie unless it spills into the other solo titles leading up to Avengers 3.

What are the inhumans. Not a comic reader but I've usually at least heard of a character.

The buildup for Civil War will come from the following:

-Age of Ultron
-Agents of Shield Season 2 final 3 episodes
-Ant-Man
-Agents of Shield Season 3
-Netflix Series

Sort of another mutant race, separate from the X-Men variety. Each Inhuman has their own powers and insane appearance.

Marvel is elevating them as their version of the X-Men.

But they were a great concept on their own.
