It would have been really easy for these guys to fold up after the auburn blowout. They could have easily folded up and limped to the end of the season. BUT they decided to get back to work and have improved more in the last month than any team in recent memory.

that is all.

The pivotal moment of this season may very well be Florida's dropped TD pass. If Florida wins that game, our confidence may have been destroyed. Instead, we got a win at the Swamp along with a major confidence boost, and we've looked like an entirely new team since. Our young guys have improved so much in the last few weeks.

Yeah, me too. Whatever happens from here on out, they kept fighting, improved, and never gave up. They have earned the colors that they wear and I am proud of them. Proud of the coaches, too.

This team has flaws. It isn't perfect. But, I refuse to be a "championship or bust" type of fan. I enjoy the football season and finding a young team with heart improving week after week is a very good thing. This team deserves our support. Coaches too.

this had been one of the most craziest seasons I remember (of coarse 2007 was the best, even tho we had a roller coaster ride)This team has shown heart like no other, and I truly believe we can beat bama, and if we do we can certainly win out and set up for what could be a very special 2015.

I like the fact that it actually looks like they are getting stronger as the season goes on. In the past, some of the teams were strong at the beginning of the year but seemed to get progressively worse as the season wore on.

Did u forget who is coaching them? There isnt a tougher SOB out there.

But this team has some special qualities abut them, without a doubt. They like the underdog role.

It takes a strong leader to keep the young men fired up to play every week when the chance for a national championship has faded...Salute to Coach Miles and the young men...

I love this team too.

There have been times when LSU football has not been fun to watch. But in spite of the setbacks, I really enjoyed watching both offense and defense last Saturday night. There was just no quit in anyone!

Ditto! Could not be more proud of our team. They have literally turned this season around, and I want them to know how "awesome" they have looked these past couple of weeks. Now let's go kick some Gumper @$$ next week!

I think that youth plays in large part to that. Think about 2008 or 2009, guys that were on the team were part of the national championship team of 2007, when the going go tough they just quit and limped out the season, whereas this team is out to prove something and doesn't give up or get down on themselves. I mean to be down 17-0 against wisky and not get down on themselves.

I used to be that way to some extent. I remember losing interest at times in 2002 and 2008 but not since then.

I think being older, it helps to have perspective and realize without a championship at stake or even when a given game is already decided, there are still important things happening in the big picture. Next year isn't as far away as it used to be.

My exact line of thinking. The players on this team all could have gone somewhere else but chose LSU. All players not on this team a) are ineligible b) are not good enough and/or c) would rather go to school somewhere other than LSU. I wish them well and support the players who, like me, chose to go to LSU.

Maybe in a game or two but mostly, I don't think they did. They took then-#1 Alabama to OT, they didn't really show up in the Troy game until late, but they eventually won. I guess you can argue they kind of coasted through the last two games of that year.

2009 they lost to really good Alabama and Florida teams. There was that nonsensical end to the Ole Miss game, but they didn't quit, that was nearly a great comeback if we could have gotten our timeouts in order. The bowl game was ugly that year, I'll give you that.
