Just started as well....pretty easy to binge watch.

Doesn't start slow either. You're going to enjoy it.

So good, been watching since the premiere.

I am about 2 episodes behind in S2 on the DVR.

Fantastic show.

The show is one of my guilty pleasures. I watch despite realizing the James Spader character is absolutely ridiculous, the FBI personnel and the role they play is absolutely ridiculous, and the plots are, well, absolutely ridiculous.

Still I watch.

Spader is great. He is about the only thing great.

The story of the week gets old but the underlying arc is interesting.

All of the actors other than Spader are Meh at best.

I enjoyed season one but got really tired of the Evil Plot of the Week by the end of the season.

Didn't like the Season 1 finale. The plot was too eye rolling over the top unbelievable.

I gave it a run a couple weeks ago and quit on it after 5 episodes. Spader is great but I couldn't get into it. Too formulaic and "networky."

You quit before the best episodes.

Heck, I thought it was pretty damn violent for Network Tv. I guess I could be wrong there since I don't watch much network tv anymore but it sure seemed to ramp up the violence.

It definitely is those things. I did however keep watching and really started to enjoy it. Spader really does make the show as watchable as it is.

With most network shows including this one, you have to get through the initial fluff of the early season episodes to when they start working more on the overall story arc.

OF course there is still the really over the top surveillance/counter-surveillance methods where the nerdy dude has access to every database in existence and anything else that uses electricity. That is hard to watch sometimes.

Really no different than 24. Technology can do anything on these shows.

Seen the first couple episodes. Really enjoyed them. I know they will stick to the episodic formula, but many great shows had that set up. In fact, before cable starting to take over, it was the norm. I think I'll enjoy it for what it is.

There is the terrorist of the week plot but there is also a continuing arc. I just don't know what will happen once we get the current arc answered or if they will continue to drag the current arc to the point we hate the show.

Haven't watch any of season 2 yet so can't comment on season 2.

Has season 2 been any good? No spoilers. Just want to know if the show is retaining fans of season 1.

I think I'm on episode 6/7. I agree with the network-y feel of the show. I feel like it will run its course in a couple seasons unless they change the formula of the show. Evidently every plot in the world takes about 12 hours to foil.

I didn't know we had so many terrorists in the US.

Part of the problem with the show is that to cut costs, just about everything happens in the one location. Sure they do head away from time to time, but it is crazy how dangerous that city is.
