every coach loses some football games. miles truly believed JJ was the best chance to win that game. he was wrong. but to say he is small minded, inflexible and vindictive is just wrong. so some people really like les miles as our coach and you don't. I get that but to slur his character with insults that you can't prove is very small minded. this isn't a political race.

We all feel bout things the way we feel bout them, but wanting a coach gone or disliking him mainly cause he lost a NCG after he has won 80% of 126 games including another NCG while completing in the hardness division of the hardness conference in college football makes no sense to me.

That seems to scream "small minded, inflexible and vindictive".

I think it has a lot more to do with some having made of their mind that Miles was not the "right fit" at LSU for whatever their reason in Miles 1st yrs here and now being unable to admit that they were wrong.

As another posted not long ago, the goal post for Miles to be fully accepted by some seem to keep moving and always will.

I had no idea that butt hurt lasted this long. Maybe he can't get Boudreaux's Butt Paste way up there in the frozen north.

Chill out Gray Tiger, we all love Les. I think he is a great man & recruiter. but some times I don't understand some of his calls when the game is on the line.

There are a lot of things that I don't understand about a lot of things. To carry a butt hurt about a single game this long indicates a certain lack of testosterone in my opinion.
How long do these people cry about being chosen last in a touch football game in the seventh grade?

Not many evenly keeled Tiger fans in our corner of the world. Probably is the same in the gump camp, but our fans throw a much better tailgate than any of them...

Miles is a quirky coach, but he is OUR coach, and I am one of his fans...I met him before his first fall camp...I told him that LSU was the best coaching job in the country, because we had the best and loudest fans and they would worship the ground you walk on. He smiled and thanked me...Then I told him that they would love or hate him depending on how well his team played, so don't F@&K UP and he could coach here forever...Well, he is still here, and the fans have proved me right...

Some fans just can't get past his mistakes...

Forgive & forget and let's move on to more victories for LSU!!!

Not doing things the way you might want or playing the players you want doesn't equate to his being "stubborn". I have seen "stubborn" HC at LSU, such as the one Nick replaced, but Miles makes changes all the time such as in both position coaches and DC/OC. Just this season he started one QB, then started another, and then went back to the 1st.

a out dated offense

That out dated O passed the ball for over 250 yds and scored 36 pts a game less than a yr. ago.

and wins 80% of his games, and that is all people want,

All I want? No. I would rather LSU win 100% of their games.

But I am not gonna piss on the back of winning 80% while playing in the SEC. If you want to, knock yourself out.

but he never downgrades a player

He pretty much assured that the QB whose offense was in the top five balanced in the nation and had led the tigers to number 1 in the nation would go undrafted by sitting him while the Miles Fav QB struggled to make first downs, fumbled, threw picks.

The national narrative on Miles went from puzzlement, confusion, to what the frick is he thinking.
And he was criticized nationally as classless, etc., when he publicly denigrating a QB recruit that decommitted.
Remember the stupid doesn't have the chest comment about the now starting QB for Cincinnati Bearcats?

Yeah, somehow thinking that an offense led by a QB that couldn't make a first half against Georgia in a half of play will somehow do so against Alabama is so brilliant.

mnstar, apparently Miles' lovers either have a long term memory problem, in that they don't possess one, or perhaps they do and fear to a paranoid degree that Dinardi etal., will return if they dare critique their "dear leader" in a logical manner and they also don't quite get, that is, understand the difference between having character and being a character.
