It's all instinctual now, there is no looking around with heads up asses. The ball is snapped and muscle memory takes over. Kwon and beckwith in particular are so damn smooth with a side of violent. The db's move with the wide recievers well and are exactly where they need to be (just catch the damn ball).

Germans but i can't help myself...safe to say they are running like a well oiled machine and in unison.

They making tackles and looking like they want to actual knock the opponents silly....I love that.

i agree...there is still plenty of room to improve though...i saw some scary busted coverages. and that RB had nothing but fields of grass on the ole miss TD that got called back.

but much much better.

They know the scheme and their part in it better. They are reacting as trained.

Adams probably has more snaps in the last 2 games compared to Louis. It will be interesting to see what they bring this week as Bama is more of a traditional attack. We need Adams in the game regardless.

Thanks. Beckwith & Alexander have cast quite a long shadow the last 3 weeks.

Why did this get 3 down votes?

Alabama fans upset that the defense is better?

Because there are morons that post here often.
They can't stand to see LSU play well for whatever reason is in their sick little brains.

Reasons for improvement:
1) Beckwith
2) Much improved and more physical D-Line play
3) Jamal Adams - His play is great, but what is overlooked is that his attitude is off the charts. He feeds enthusiasm.
4)I have to agree with the post of the players trusting each other, and being more instinctive now.

Did you notice the DE discipline on screens during a blitz? Both Rasco and Hunter stopped inside screens for zero gain by staying home while the backers blitz. Both plays were simply beautiful. It was as if they knew what the play was before snap.

Wish DT didn't get hurt.

Watching this defense grow up and come into their own has been fun to watch. I expect some more hiccups and growing pains this year, but next year could be one of the most dominant overall units we've had under Miles

Hope Hunter and Kwon stay.

Hunter and Rasco are playing great...
Godchaux is coming on strong...
We all know Kwon is good...
Beckwith hits like a truck...
Secondary is communicating better...

I saw that too. A lot of open receivers but Bo made bad throws
