When exactly did we start using signs on the sideline?

First time seeing the signs last night.

First time I saw them was Florida but I'd imagine they started at Auburn

Great idea. Other teams have been stealing our signs, so this system really hampers/confuses everything IMO...Some teams have 5 plays being called in at one time, and only the QB knows which is real...That's how you have to play the game now....

Chris Fowler had a funny comment about one of the signs. Don't quote me, but I think it was Mickey Mouse.
