is that since the game was "still in doubt" to the very end it meant that lots of ole miss fans were still in the stadium to witness the last play, it happend down in their corner of the stadium right in their faces and then, insult to injury, they couldn't exit fast enough (unlike Wallace and Treadwell) and had to witness the celebration.

Do you have any idea how much those folks from north Miss look down on and despise as inferior not only all things LSU but, the state of La., and it's French culture?* They hate us and make no secret about it.
It feels good to pee in their Cheerios.

* It's quite interesting that these Scots-Irish from north Miss and the rest of the South would look down on anything French. The reason for this is because the French and Scots-Irish peoples served in each others' armies and fought shoulder to should as allies in many wars.

The French Army had a very crack unit of Scotsmen called the Scottish Guard.

LINK

So, when a drawl-talking person from Miss. or Bama wants to disparage anything French, he's really spitting on his ancestors who fought many battles under the Lily Banners for France.

It's an historical fact that the vast majority of migrants to the USA South from today's UK came from the Scottish, Irish and Welsh parts of those islands.
