Which FBS teams control their own playoff destiny?

Florida State
(Duke?)
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Georgia
Kansas State
TCU
(Baylor?)
Oregon
Arizona
(Ohio State, Michigan State, and Nebraska could produce a one-loss champion, but I think they need some help above to get in.)

If TCU does, Baylor does. They beat TCU and they can beat K-State.

It's not neccearily about controlling their own destiny, it also is a matter of schedulng logistics.
i.e. Ole Miss and Mississippi State play, so that eliminates one. Ditto with Oregon and Arizona.
At this time IMO, the only teams that truly control their own destiny are Mississippi, Mississippi State and Auburn. Alabama loses a two way tie breaker with Mississippi I assume since they lost head to head, correct?
In the same vein, Oregon doesn't control it's own destiny to a point because it lost to Arizona, but there could be a rematch in the P12 title game, so that's another factor. But I feel confident that with their win over Michigan State, Oregon controls their own destiny with a P12 Championship and 1 loss.
It gets complicated but tl;dr, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, and Florida State are the four that hold the keys.

What if they win out and don't win the west?

How not? We're number 3 in the country.
They're putting in the best teams, your conference championship will be as significant as a MAC championship. Sorry.

If Bama wins out and Ole Miss lose again.
Bama will win the west.
Bama will win the west.

I'm not even advocating for the B1G.
Controlling your destiny means 100% you will go if you win out.
Florida State and Mississippi State truly 100% control their own destiny.
After that, Ole Miss has the upper hand on Bama.

That's the definition of not controlling your own destiny.

In your opinion, that's not a lock.
Hence they don't control their own destiny.

No. That's a lock. If OM wins out, they will make the SECCG, we will still be at least #3 in the country. Regardless of whether they win the SECCG we will be in the playoff, having stayed in the top 3 for the large majority of the season and our only loss on the road to another playoff team. There's no way they will keep us out.

How so?
Florida State will be ahead of a one loss Bama, and one loss Mississippi.
You're talking out of your arse.

Well they will have beaten the #1 team in MSU, A top 5 team in AU, beat a surging LSU team, And then A maybe 2 loss UGA team in the SEC title game......they WILL be in if they win out.......

I edited since you wanna nitpick one obvious point (we are number 4 today, the number 3 just lost, if we beat the number 1 we are likely to go to 2 since OM doesn't play them until the end of the season)
But forget that point and try to dispute the rest
