The PI call on ole Miss last drive

I was in the car listening on the radio. Hawthorne was beside himself, said the ball was uncatchable given that it was intercepted. Was it as bad as he made it out to be?
DISCLAIMER BEFORE EVERYONE GOES NUTS.
I was not at the game, didn't leave early. Heading home from a family trip. Had to listen to the whole game on the radio.

The ball was severely under thrown and picked off but Mills basically tackled the reciever.

It was the right call. Close, but the right call.

Thought it was BS but on replay it was correct.

way underthrown, but the right call.

The next incomplete should've been PI on Ole Miss.

It was the right call but if they're gonna call that then it was definitely offensive pass interference a couple plays later when their receiver tackled our DB

It was the right call, but on the very next play there was blatant offensive interference against Jamal Adams, and it went uncalled.

I think Mills ultimately more got in the way than PI, they were both grabbing each other at the crucial moment. IMO.

ball was not only underthrown, but thrown high, the guy had a chance to come back and get it but was tackled

right call, though the circumstances we're unfortunate

The pass looked to be about 5 yards short. defender was run into by receiver stopping.

Same here. Replay clearly showed PI and he prevented the receiver from being able to come back for the ball.

It was definitely PI.
That said, it was also definitely PI on Trey Quinn, 3rd down during our first drive of the game. That one, though, wasn't called.

I was ok with that call, but how do you then not call offensive pass interference on the next play when the ole miss receiver pulled down Adams on a ball he was gonna pick?

This - big time. They interfered with us so we wouldn't pick it.

Hawthorne can't interpret a call? Shocked
