It's an anxiety release.

Quit being miserable. What a fricking game. What a fricking win. Storm the field, I don't give a shite. Awesome game.
I'm not miserable at all. I had a blast watching the game.

Lemme get this straight, so now we are bitching about fans staying the whole time and going out the field?

Yuck. Powerhouse programs shouldn't rush the field.

It wasn't a "hey we've never won a game this big, so everybody rushes onto the field and hangs on goalposts" type of field rushing.
It looked more like a slow trickle of people that went down and celebrated with players that have never won a game this big.
The program has been there for years, those players have never experienced something like this before.

You sound like some pissed in your cheerios, complaining about people who actually went to the game.

I'm glad we're having this argument. It means we won.

Nah - whatever works. I say act like we'be been there, but an awesome game is an awesome game. Let it flow.

After a game like that, I'd be enjoying myself back at the tailgate with my friends. I'd be in no rush to leave that atmosphere.
Great game, and the stadium looked awesome.

Apparently. There have been hundreds of threads recently about the horrible state of the program, calls for the firing of just about every coach at some point, though mainly just coach Miles, and how LSU may not win another game this year.
So, only minutes after a victory in which the defense played like the LSU defenses of old and where the 'boring' offense shoved the ball down their throat for the winning drive, the actions of exuberant college students (mainly) are the only things some can focus on.
I would imagine that this outpouring of support was not scorned by the players as it is by these 'powerhouse program' etiquette police that are spewing verbal bovine feces on here tonight.

Looks like the students celebrated a big win with their team. Oh the fricking horror.

Better than the usual exiting the game early . I see nothing wrong with it and been going to the games since 1964. So what , if the cops are cool with it and no goal posts coming down, what in the hell is wrong with it when everybody and their darn sister said this team wasn't worth a shite.
