Lee High School teacher accused of making lewd comments to female student

A Lee High School teacher in Baton Rouge, who has been accused of making inappropriate comments to a female student multiple times, turned himself in to law enforcement authorities Friday morning.

Oscar C. Mays, 50 was arrested and booked on counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

The student, a 15-year-old girl, told her parents earlier this month, that Mays had made sexual remarks to her while at school, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Her parents then contacted school officials, who then notified the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

In an interview with deputies, the girl told them that Mays would tell that she was "pretty" and that "she looked good" as she would pass him un the hallway, the affidavit says. The comments, however, became more sexually suggestive, referencing the girls' breasts, private parts and sexual orgasms. LINK
