Trey and I recap LSU's win over UK & preview the LSU-Ole Miss matchup this weekend.

LSU vs. Ole Miss Preview

Does a win save the Tigers season? Does a loss send it spiraling into oblivion?

If we can throw the ball. It's a big "If"

Who are you and why would I care what you think? You look like a couple of LSU-TV guys.

Way to try too hard and be overly dramatic. Yeah….a loss to the 3rd ranked team will send the season "spiraling into oblivion"

Super professional with no cliches used at all

Also, great prediction on the year, 9-3 or 8-4 or 7-5?That's excellent journalism!

That being said, the coaches don't trust him or Harris and will run the ball 50 times. It's tough to truly tell how good/bad a QB is when he's only allowed to throw it 15 times a game.

Not making a prediction, simply stating my opinion that a 9-3, 8-4 or 7-5 season with the current personnel LSU has, especially at QB, should not be considered a lost season.

FWIW, my preseason prediction was 9-3. That's obviously still attainable, though not likely.

No, the likely result is we'd just get a slightly better bowl game than if we lose.

Yes, might as well cash in your chips if you can't beat the #3 team in the country with a bunch of freshmen.

Two young guys living their dream, I like it. Having said that, the actual analysis could have been much stronger. In the UK game LSU dominated the first half because of STs...Yes in the 2nd half UK wore down and realized they were not going to come back which skewed the total stats in the Tigers direction.

The next two games are clearly the tests for the Tigers.

but he's bounced back the past couple of games

Do you say that because he hasn't turned the ball over and we won?

Yes. I think getting over whatever mental hurdle plagued him against NM St. is an improvement. He's never going to be a consistent 300+ yard, 4 touchdown a game QB, and the current LSU team just needs him to limit turnovers, feed the RB's and make the occasional crucial throw if need be aka Game Manager. Jennings' biggest asset is his cool head under pressure -he's led big time late drives against Arkansas, Wisconsin and Florida. He'll never be great, but he can be good.
