I know well-off season ticket holders who haven't gone in years because it only makes financial sense to re-sell the tickets and watch at home. So I don't think people are that easily replaced if the prices are constant.

Red Stick, not to hijack this thread (sorry Chicken)... but are you the lady who sold me tix to the 2001 SEC champ game vs Tenn in Atlanta? I was bringing my two (at the time) young sons to the game and you sold me the tix downtown outside of a hotel? If so......

People that boo a college athlete obviously have no idea what it takes, just to have the opportunity to be on the field, court, or diamond. The amount of sacrifice, determination, time, money and effort not only by the athlete themselves, but the entire family as well. God may give you the talent, but hard long work and heart gets you in the game. It's CRAZY to me that someone would think a college athlete owes them a good outing, and the selfish, self importance entitled cat dick douche bag should have his shite pushed in for booing him/her if they do not perform up to the standard that the "fan" thinks they fricking deserve. GTFO with this attitude, STAY HOME, do us all a favor.

lighten up Francis, LSU/TAF sells, almost extorts a product, if someone buys their product, they can express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction, this isn't N. Korea

Dude, I'm with you! Don't jump on me for agreeing with you?

eta: I was just talking about the "I'm leaving early" sign... any of this other shite about booing our athletes/kids I do NOT condone in ANY way.... I must have missed something due to my lack of reading comprehension...

Never ever is booing a kid over a sporting event acceptable. It's a fricken joke, and those who say they get to do it because they pay for tickets...frick off. 70% of students booed Jennings, but I bet one didn't have the nuts to say something to his face. Just like everybody will talk shite about Miles til they're blue in the face, but I bet if they see him in person they won't call him an idiot and every other name I've heard on here.

you say they havent gone in years so I'm assuming that people have been buying their tickets? so that means that their seats are being used. How does that make you think that they arent replaceable?

they are selling tickets either at or above market value and they are consistently finding buyers. That just reinforces the fact that they are indeed replaceable.

no it isnt.

We live in a free market world. And in a free market world the way we express displeasure in a product is to cease the buying of said product. We don't express our displeasure by booing fricking children. So if you don't like what you see on the field then stop attending games and stop watching games on tv. If your displeasure is so extreme that you can boo an amateur then surely you can make that small sacrifice to make a change.... right?

no I love a free market. and a free market dictates that anyone dissatisfied with a product should no longer purchase that product.

I agree. The children comment is a bit hyperbolic. You don't just quit something you love when it stumbles. You try to get it back to how it was in ways YOU see fit.

Yes it does.

2012 vs Alabama was magical and eerie despite the loss.
