How do the Broncos make it look so easy on offense while we sputter now?

It's so damn frustrating watching Denver move the ball with ease. Almost every single play, Peyton scans the field and casually finds a WR or TE who (more times than not) is absolutely wide open and hit in stride.

I can honestly say that the Broncos have more "wide open" WR's on one successful drive than the Saints are getting in an entire football game so far this year.

When Graham, Cooks, PT, Stills, and Colston are all healthy I just don't get how we can't have anybody wide open like in the good old days (2009-2012) anymore. We used to be these Broncos or this current Packers squadron. On paper we still have the talent to put up 500 yards and 35 points per game but in reality it seems like we've lost that "ease" that we so took for granted.

It has to be mostly scheme and play calling, right? Half of the Broncos easy pass plays are just clear outs of the type that we never seem to run.

A good offensive line goes a long way.

You do realize that going into last week we were #2 in passing, top 15 in rushing and #2 in total offense and put up 400+ yards on the #1 defense in the league?

Untimely turnovers and inability to close out have been our biggest offensive issues. We could just as easily be 4-2 or 5-1.

We have yet to have them all healthy. Also, Stills is a 2nd year player and Cooks is a rookie

We need some more Joe Morgan on the 9 route.

Well, it helps that their top 5 receiving options are better than any we have. Literally.

Their O feeds off their D. Our O has been sitting at the table waiting to be served for 6 games.

we are definitely missing him on streaks/go's

he was a good deep threat in the past before injury

So Brees really is single handedly losing every game with his horribly timed interceptions and 3 and out incompletions.

frick him and Payton.

That game last night made it clear as can be. Peyton has a beastly o-line and had all the time in the world. He was able to step up into a solid pocket all night. He was able to make full reads and then had the time to step into the throw.

It's really just that simple.

The Chargers were missing their two best corners.

That's fine but it's not easy like it used to be. Every pass seems contested or thrown with Brees under duress. By comparison the Broncos make every game look like the 2011 Saints playing in the Dome against the Colts

Solid O-Line + Peyton + Emmanuel Sanders + DT88 + Julius Thomas + Hillman + ...

They also have a pretty good defense. That counts for something.
