hat Jennings need to have green light to run the damn ball a lot when Ole Miss over pursues, or how about a play action pass on 1st down, etc.

You think miles is gonna bench Jennings if he runs effectively? He has the green light he just doesn't always do it.

if I'm OM's Defensive coordinator, I'm loading the box and I'm gonna MAKE Jennings beat with his arm

Absolutely. But I don't think it's so much that AJ can't beat OM with his arm. He delivered with his arm in the 2013 game against Ark. (not just the TD to Dural, but the pass to the TE out of his own endzone to start the drive); in the 2nd half against Wisc. (2 big 3rd down completions to Diarse) and UF (3 big 3rd down completions that led to LSU TDs) There has been some bad. But we have also seen evidence of clutch play as well

LSU just uses the passing game A. When the absolutely have to on 3rd down and/or B. as a method to try and hit a big play. It sounds silly, but its almost as if a pass on 1st or 2nd down for LSU is the equivalent of a "trick play" for essentially every other team in college football

If Harris is in the game, it means something has gone terribly wrong, i.e., Jennings got hurt or we are down by a lot.

Or that we are blowing out Ole Miss

Jennings can't throw on the run, so I'm guessing that's why we never see any roll outs.

Funny how you ONLY remember Auburn. What about miss st or nmst. Let's turn this around. Remember Jennings against NMST but yet he is capable of playing. Guess you can't fix stupid.

problem is we haven't been able to complete key passes for first downs on a regular basis and this puts the running game at a distinct disadvantage,.

No not exactly, the problem is that when we do have a great first down rush..see AU first three series....we shoot ourselves in the foot on second and short. Not saying it makes a huge diff in the AU game, but we were like 2 and 4, 2 and 3, 2 and 2 and we don't convert a single first down. That is the most glaring example.

We do not have to throw it to win, they let rushing yards and TDs count still

EXACTLY Jdawgz!!! Everyone wants to crack on Harris because of his poor start vs Auburn...1st career start, on the road, vs #5 AU. Jennings looked like hot garbage vs NMST....AT HOME! No excuse why Harris can't run 1 series a half just to give the other teams something else to prepare for. Give him 10 plays to master & when he has those down, add a couple every week! Bring him along slowly but also get him meaningful minutes.

Have no clue how a kid is good enough to start at Auburn, but can' get at least 1 series a half vs Florida or UK?!?

MastrShake. semi-deep ball is the easy thing to throw on the run. just loft it up. video invalid proof.

They will not have 9 in the box one single time unless LSU lines up with 10 in the box, or LSU lines up with nine in the box in a short yardage situation.

yes, line play has improved, completing some swing passes to backs, mistakes are very limited.

Jennings sure cant throw it well, neither can harris right now. So why not play them equally or close to equally?

because Harris isn't ready to run the checks at the line that the LSU running game requires. I do, however, think that they've been working the past couple of weeks on a package for Harris. Not sure if they'll roll it out this week or wait to polish it up some during the off week, but he should see some meaningful snaps before the season is done.

Do you mean running a set play or running for his life?

If Harris gets in, it will mean LSU will be 2 or more scores behind.

well i am simply shocked that the rant would simply dismiss the evidence showing that theyre 100 percent wrong instead of just accepting reality. never in a million years did i expect this kind of response.
