New 4x4 F150 and don't care for the way the front end dips.

How expensive to purchase and how hard to install?

BTW, my dad is a TV repairman and has an awesome set of tools!

Fairly easy if you have jack stands and some air tools. I'd go get an alignment after, and Id also re-aim your headlamps.

Didn't think about that. Those HID's would blind some peeps.

What's a good brand to use? I've heard Rough Country. I have a 2013 fx4 and want to level it.

I don't know shite about them. I just don't like the way the truck sits. Doesn't look right IMO.

So I take it he's the resident expert.
I'll take his advice then.

So King, what brand, size do you recommend?

SUPERLIFT

or Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and keep the current coils.

I just had the bilsteins installed, new tires mounted on my factory wheels, front end alignment, headlight alignment - $650 cash and that included the shop purchasing the Bilsteins.

Is 2" enough to make it sit level?

I'd go with the adjustable 5100 shocks. I had them on my last truck. They were great. To get the right height for your truck, measure from the center of the hub to the finder. Subtract the distance from the front from the rear. That will be the height you need to level.

Yes 2" is what you need. I have a 2.5" that was given to me and my truck is dead nuts level but has the look of a little nose high sometimes. Me and a buddy did the install and it wasn't too bad. Like always, the first side took about 4x longer than the next. Ran into a couple of issues but managed to get it all back together. About 4 hours total.

Eta: I didn't adjust my headlights

For my truck yes 2" is as close to level as I needed - it still has some factory rake but I don't like the looks when a truck is a little high in the front. The Bilsteins can be adjusted up to 2.8" I believe - plus the higher you go the more likely of damaging your ball joints is - 2" on most 4x4 trucks is plenty.

I'd do 2"
No more than 2.5"
