Buddy got these two guys on his trail cam... Feral, or just got out of a nearby ranch?
ETA: My buddy just told me this was on his deer lease near Salado, TX, Just north of Austin. Dude has like three or four different leases and/or properties... forgive me for having assumed it was his one in South Texas

How big of a pot you need to deep fry those Thanksgiving birds.

55 gallon drum or so based on the OPs picture

Probably feral. There were a lot of people who tried to make those a popular red meat source but they quickly fell out. There was a lot of dumping of emus since no one could recoup the money they spent on them.
Also those bastards are fast and can get out of just about anything.

Shoot one, breast it, and make sausage. It's actually pretty good.

anything with Talons that runs 30 mph is getting taken down immediately... idc if they're "skittish" or not.
Also, SAM's Club has Industrial sized containers of peanut oil, right?

That's right. I guess I should have said skin and debone it instead of breast it.
