Brian Bosworth - ESPN 30 for 30 Episode

ESPN had him as a guest on their First Take Show with Stephen A. Smith & Bayless and other ESPN shows today.
Wow, what a transformation.
One, he's 49 years old. Seems like only yesterday he was the Boz and a national figure for OU.
Two, he's apparently turned his life around and recognized the mistakes he's made.
He was on First Take to promote an ESPN 30 for 30 titled Brian and the Boz that will air on ESPN next Tuesday night the 28th.
Should be a good watch.

Is this the greatest double thread post in the history of TigerDroppings?

I hope so. Brian paid me a shitload to post it again.

He broke down and started crying on SVP earlier

I saw it. What do you think? Is the emotion genuine or is it an effort to get back in the spotlight? Personally, I think he's finally got his stuff together and recognized the mistakes he's made in the past.

Seemed genuine to me. Like he would really do things different.

Agreed. I was pretty impressed with him.

So I am a lil younger than most on here I guess, what did he do that was so bad besides be an arrogant arse, pretty much the norm of a lot of the WRs in the league ie chad Johnson, TO, or even Richard Sherman to an extent. Yea I know hes a DB.

He was The Boz between the lines and appeared to be a normal person away from the playing field. My recommendation is to watch the 30 for 30 next week. It should be a good one.

So bc he liked to sport a mullet hawk and took juice? I would bet the percentages or past and present college and pro football players who have taken or on gear is easily 50% or more.

Do a 30 for 30 on King Rex

He was a loud mouthed, obnoxious a-hole.
One story has always stuck with me... He had an assembly line job at a GM plant during college. In a Sports Illustrated interview, he bragged about putting empty bottles in the doors of pick-up trucks. He thought it was funny that people would hear a rattle in their new vehicle and never be able to figure out what was making the noise. That's something only an a-hole would do.
He never amounted to much in the NFL because of injuries, but it would have been almost impossible to live up to the hype that he created. ( Ironhead Heyward made him cry.) He was an even worse actor than he was a LB.
All that being said, I'd watch the show.
