I ate a brownie over the summer which left me thinking i was going to die. I had never tried a high dose edible (over 50mg), and I did. Never again, that was not fun. Great visuals, great body feeling but holy shite the paranoia!

The fact than ANYONE has ever been imprisoned for personal use of marijuana is, in itself, a crime. perhaps no other travesty of justice has ever plagued this country like prosecution for marijuana. it is a prime example of both the federal government's support of big business (pharmaceutical industry) at the expense of the common man. Despite the fact that this country was founded on the principal of liberty our bloated and self serving federal government has put a deep and ugly stain on the constitution.

You would have to smoke a ridiculous amount of cannabis to OD on it.
It is estimated that marijuana's [median lethal dose] is around 1:20,000 or 1:40,000. In layman terms this means that in order to induce death a marijuana smoker would have to consume 20,000 to 40,000 times as much marijuana as is contained in one marijuana cigarette. [National Institute on Drug Abuse]-supplied marijuana cigarettes weigh approximately .9 grams. A smoker would theoretically have to consume nearly 1,500 pounds of marijuana within about fifteen minutes to induce a lethal response.
