I have noticed a trend lately that a lot of guys are wearing multi-colored socks with suits. Went a wedding and all groomsmen had on different socks, was kinda cool IMO.

We are baptizing my daughter in a few weeks and thought of grabbing a pair with some pink to go along with my navy suit.

Ghey?

Some people do it as a hobby thing. I don't have an opinion one way or another on it

All I wear is "fun" socks.. it's adds flair to an otherwise overlooked garment.

I went with Nice Laundry... bought several $99 packages and get compliments on them ALL the time.

Mostly by women

eta: I actually own neon orange/pink/green/yellow camouflage socks

Yeah, I've got typically pattern ones. But nothing really that turns any heads.

It's fun and cool IMO.

You rarely see someone's socks in a suit anyway so it's not a huge deal but it gives the outfit some flavor.

Match your tie and socks for maximum frattiness.

my opinion is anything other than white or black is homosexual.

But my opinion doesn't really mean a damn thing.

It's definitely the new cool thing for men to do. No clue how long this fad lasts, but if you jump on now, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I just wear black socks but I would wear colored. Just dont wanna buy or match them.

Standard men's suits don't offer a lot in the way of color expression. Bold ties can make you look like a prick, but patterned and/or colored socks add a nice touch without coming off too strong.

It's a thing, but it's not a thing I participate in. I do wear patterned, less boring socks of a normal color, but I don't do the neon green and pink socks with a charcoal business suit thing.

You wear white socks with a suit?

Or have you never worn anything but tennis shoes?

Those Nice Laundry are really cool, but $50 package is kinda a lot for socks....when i have a drawer full of servicable ones.

Gonna check ebay

I mean, you buy them from Banana Republic or whatever, it's like $20 for 3 with a sale... sometimes more expensive. You get like seven pair with one "package" from NL.

The attention that the ladies give you makes them worth their weight in a super-expensive metal

Peter O'Toole always wore green socks from the age of 14 until he passed away. For his part in Lawrence of Arabia he carried green socks in a pocket of his robe.

I wear socks like that all the time. Plain blue, black and brown are boring.

Happy Socks are my favorite brand. Here are some that I have on today.
