Both Freeman and Ford look like douches.

But it looks good if you also are half bald and have a ponytail.

Small loops can look okay.

The guys with the diamond studs look like they raided their grandma's jewelry box.

I'd say 21 years old is the cutoff. That's when it's time to get your big boy job.

dude, this isn't 1985. I work in a professional environment and I see earrings regularly.

A man wearing an ear ring is the least professional image one could imagine! Goes hand in hand with visible tats IMO!

I thought earrings for guys was over about ten years ago, except for the morons who put those spacers in their earlobe crying for attention.

When I was 18, in 1998, I went through a breakup and decided to "rebel" and get an earring. I am just about the least likely person to get an earring ever. My friends made fun of me relentlessly.

It lasted for two weeks before I got rid of it. You can still see a little scar all these years later, and my friends STILL make fun of me about it.

Recently found out my 33 year old b.i.l. has nipple rings. Have a hard time looking at him the same.

I've told my kid just like my daddy told me...if you EVER pierce your ear, I'll pierce your nose...with my fist.

I knew a guy on a Baton Rouge television station that wore an earring when he was off duty. He was around 45 at the time. This was around 15 years ago. You would never suspect this guy being so hip outside of the station.

I don't have a problem with it or anything, I just think it looks dumb.

I haven't worn any kind of piercing in close to 20 years, but I still have all four holes. I hate it when my students notice the ear holes and have considered using some kind of concealer on them during interviews.

There were actually more guys wearing earrings back then, it was edgy. Then more and more guys realized it just looked dumb.

Tats are a ways down this road now.

When I see a guy with an earring in his ear the first thing think is that he's going to be a douche.

I have never seen it in the banking/mortgage field. Last company wouldn't allow facial hair because it wasn't professional looking.

I recently go out of this field of work but yea couldn't have a beard and couldn't wear ear rings. They also had rules on tattoos.
