Is anyone else tired of the kids that walk around tailgates and sell candy? It's actually gotten worse in the past year to the point that it's annoying. Do you really think they're "raising money" for something? or are mom and dad just making a buck off their kids.

They had some last week selling stuff for 20 bucks a pop. I was flabbergasted.

I bought something for a kids travel team once. Then, one of my good friends said they're fundraising to help cut into the travel costs of the families. They use the money to help pay for gas, hotels, beer, etc...

Now, even when it's legit for a school requirement I don't do it.

It's really annoying. Poor kids are being used by their parents.

I don't have a problem with it, but thought it was hilarious to see the little black kids selling skittles last year right after the Trayvon stuff.

yeah and they are coming in bigger groups it seems like now

I honestly don't mind if it is something that's like a dollar, but when they start selling ridiculous stuff for 10 or 20 dollars I just laugh.

I'm also afraid if I give one of them a dollar, that all the others will somehow find out and flood my tailgate

at a tailgate last year I bought from some kid because I thought his parents were a part of the tailgate and I was just being nice....they then proceed to move on to the next tailgate to hustle them for cash.

I ask them if they want a cookie for FREE from my tailgate. They usually accept and then leave. WIN-WIN
