Boxer knocks out ref after loss.

European Amateur Championships.
Croatian boxer knocks out ref because he stopped the fight after a standing 8 count.
The knockout is around 1:10 mark. But it's interesting to see the beginning to show why the guy is so pissed off.
Funny part is the other boxer hauls arse like a little punk.

this was my thought as well. The dude was ready to continue. No explanation for stopping it there. On top of that, he not only was defending himself before the standing 8, he was trowing punches.

I will admit to not knowing a whole lot about the rules of boxing. But why was the fight called there?

I'm still not entirely sure what happened here, was a standing 8 count really given? And then the fight was stopped? I'm confused.

It was an amateur youth fight, maybe that's the reason for the early stoppage.

Not so sure about the ref. being crooked. Not enough info.
Maybe the ref. saw something in the boxer's eyes that made him stop it. His corner wasn't arguing the stoppage, so, I'm assuming they agreed. And we really don't know what had happened before, it appears that he was in trouble when the video started.

Uhhh... no it doesn't appear that way. All we know is Loncar was getting another 8 count. For all we know, before the video starts, the ref is giving him another bull-shite standing 8.
Yes, the video is lacking. But if you think that last 8 count was legit, and that the ref was right in stopping the fight. You don't know boxing.
"something in his eyes"? Bull shite. Loncar was legitimately protecting himself and throwing punches right up to the end. He had his gloves up and his feet and stance were steady. No reason to stop that fight when he did.
For the record, based on Loncar's actions - he should get a lifetime ban from every boxing organization.
But also based on the video evidence I've seen, that ref should be suspended, at the least.
