Wasn't sure if I should've asked this in the other .30-30 thread or start a new one:
Does anyone have any experience with the Marlin (Remlin) 336BL 18 in barrel? Is it any handier with the shorter barrel compared to the 336W? I know the capacities are the same (6+1). Also, are the ballistics of the .30-30 changed coming out of 18 in versus 20 in? Then of course how has the quality control been on them in recent years? Thanks in advance for the help!
