What movie that has been taken out of the theater (2 weeks-100 years ago) would you like to be brought back to the big screen?

For me it is Life of Pi. I just want to see it in 3D. Just watching the Blu-Ray it looks like it would have been amazing visually on the big screen. It was great on my TV, but in 3D in a theater could have been an experience.

Seriously though, I bet the original Jaws would be cool to see "modernized" with surround sound and enhanced graphics. I can hear the boat creaking (when they're below telling war/scar stories) as I'm typing this.

I think Cinemark has played Jaws within the last year as part of their classics series.

Excluding The Thing, you stole my answer, man! I'll add Raiders and Last Crusade. Maybe Transformers: The Movie for nostalgia's sake!

You have to go for the whole trilogy. Temple of Doom isn't THAT bad.

Transformers the Movie would be fun.

I would almost say Shawshank, but it's become such a bi-weekly viewing habit on the small screen I'm not sure I would like to watch it any other way.

However, probably Smokey and The Bandit because I'm sure it would turn into a Jackie Gleason quote fest with the other patrons.

Robinson Film Center here in Shreveport played Psycho about a year ago. That was awesome, especially being a midnight showing.

I'd love to see The Birds on the big screen.

There are probably 100s of movies I'd like to have the theatre experience with but there are zero that I can think of that would sound interesting.

Seeing the opening scene with the boulder rolling through the tunnel would be worth the price of admission on it's own

300 can only be enjoyed with theater quality surround sound.

"Those eyes." "I'm going to have me some fun.''

Probably Gattaca, I loved that movie as a kid and wish I could have discovered it in theaters.

Definitely Back to the Future.
