I must say, I'm very disappointed in our QB play this year. I really thought things were going to change.

I think Jennings looked pretty bad, but I place the blame on coaching, to be honest.

Who here saw Jennings throw the TD last weekend? Serious question. He looked better to me in the UK game, only took one sack I believe which is really his worst problem.

Jennings does what he is asked to do, by a coach with a bunch of wins under his belt. We keep on complaining, yet we are still winning games.

Our defense must show up. And Jennings not screw it all up

our offense HAS to be more efficient

I keep seeing this...how do you define efficient?

I'm not saying our offense is anything great, but we pass and rush for a decent YPA, and have converted half our 3rd downs in the last 2 weeks. We can certainly get better, but we can surely win with the production we have seen the last 2 weeks.

Our defense did not show up in the games we lost, we were put in an early hole. If they play like anything close to what we saw last week, I think we are in great shape.

So you're saying he has very little to no skill at all. Statements like that epitomize the stupidity behind the hate y'all have for an LSU player that has done more for the team than the vast majority of y'all armchair QB's.

Jennings couldn't get it done in one quarter against New Mexico State,.

You know #10 is Jennings, right? He has actually played since then.

And why would he?

Yes he has and it has been better, very hard to be worse, but it's still been bad. Inaccurate, locks onto his primary and never looks off, holds onto the ball too long, and is very poor in choosing when to run. He's going to have to play the game of his life for us to win this one.

Because eventually his 3 yards and a cloud of dust scheme isn't going to work.

A better question is why wouldn't you want your QB to be able to make plays?

These are all fair, but I think the locking into a receiver thing is overblown. Most college qbs do this, and he seemed to get down to a bunch of check downs vs UK, so I suppose I'm hopeful he is turning a corner.

More efficient in the passing game,

throwing for 110 or so isnt' going to cut it against good teams,

it may work against horrible teams like florida, nmsu, monroe etc, but not against the upper echeleon teams,

Yeah no shite. Your comment that he doesn't want a playmaker at QB is asinine.

As am I, but I'm not too optimistic. I was hoping for a large leap in the last two games as Saturday will bring the best D to date that we have faced.

I'm usually there. Auburn has kind of broken me though. Haven't been able to get back on track since.
