Several years ago the day before Lafayette Air Show, a P52 and F15 were doing a fly together over the city for about an hour. Pretty incredible

It's really a joy to hear/see/feel those old planes rumbling slowly through the sky. I wish I got to experience that way more often.

I think instead of the fighter jet flyovers some old WWII bombing flying over a football stadium before kickoff would bring the damn house down.

it's called a P-51 and it is called the Heritage Flight

Coolest fricking thing you'll ever witness.






Name of the song is "We remember" by Dwayne Obrien and is played at ever air show Heritage Flight.

And that F15 with the 2 Lightnings must have been dangerously close to "stall" speed!
