Parkview Oaks subdivison?

I am currently going through a divorce and buying a house my 12 year old daughter and I. I do not want to spend a lot on a house because I do not need anything special. I just want something clean, nice, and a safe area. I looked at a few houses in Parkview Oaks that need updating(which I want to do)but are clean. I was wondering if anyone lives or have lived in the subdivision lately and can give me the scoop on it. Location seems really good and driving through it looks well kept up. Anyone have some feedback?

This is the subdivision between Coursey and Jefferson right? Not a bad area, good homes around there

Be a real divorced dad and get a condo or apartment.

Nice area. You can get a nice house if you don't mind a little updating.

Not a bad neighborhood at all. Good location, houses are kept up but not updated. You can find a good deal in there and make it your own.

I grew up there as well and loved it as a kid of course that was 30 years ago!
I can't get a condo or apartment because I fish and own a boat that I need to have a place for it. I do want a house that needs updating but not major repairs and this neighborhood has them.

Sorry about the divorce…

Parkview is still a good neighborhood. Other parts of SBR are slowly going to shite, but that neighborhood is still good. Good luck to you.

I didn't want pics of the ex-wife….but I figure someone will come along and make the request…..I tend to like to stay away from drama myself (that's why I stay single)

Grew up here as well way back when. Think it was about '82 when we moved here. Nice area. Like somebody said probably will need some updating.
