Diatomaceas earth, prolly spelled it wrongish. It is non toxic, works awesome. Go to a vet or Farm feed store. I bought a one gallon container at Dodge City in Dinky Sprangs for about 15 bucks. Start with that. Take your pet to the vet. If you have a flea problem, you will soon have a worm problem from your pet eating the fleas.

Call the cops... they'll take care of your dog's problem.

Dealt with this twice unfortunately. If your home is carpeted then buy the flea powder stuff and sprinkle it like hell all over the place, generously. Vacuum it all up, repeat, and vacuum some more. The first time I tried a lot of things before the powder and the second time I went straight for the powder and vacuum combo and took care of business.

We have a bunch of strays in my neighborhood. And they spread fleas everywheres. We treated the house, yard and dog. And they go away for a month or so. Then come right back... I'm seriously about to get some target practice in with all these stray cats. It's disgusting.

You might have to get it sprayed more than once. I had this problem last year and it took forever to kill those things off
Sprays kill existing fleas and larvae, not the eggs. The eggs that are already laid will hatch in 4-6 weeks.
Talstar in the yard, spray inside of house, spray dog. Wash dog every few days.

That's the one for heart worms and fleas, right?
Again, with three dogs, that stuff gets expensive. We use comfortis from April-October for fleas.
For heart worms, we use Ivermax, a $40 bottle of Ivermax will last me for over 3 years. It's supposed to be for cattle and other livestock, but I've been told by many vets that it's safe for dogs as well. Using a syringe, pull out 1/10th of a CC for every 10lbs of the dog, unscrew the needle from syringe, and squirt the medicine in the dogs mouth. Ex. a 64lb dog will get 7/10ths of a CC.

yes, trifexis is for heartworms and fleas...
The pill is once a month, but it's getting cooler so you may not need to do it in the winter
Just make sure you treat your house wiht flea powder, spray etc
also break up a flea coller and put in your vaccumm bag,
those bugs can live dormant in the bag

Fog bomb the house, wash the dog, then put dog on Comfortis (sp?) tabs. You can buy them from your vet. Stuff has worked on my dog for past six years.

The link that I provided earlier in this thread is the cheapest place you can buy Comfortis online (or local) anywhere.

Those prices are too good to be true. I would save about 60%. Is this right? This isn't bootleg crap is it?

What's an exterminator charge for this?
Posted on 10/20/14 at 9:39 pm to Broke
Broke, it is legitimate. I've ordered from them and it's the same product you would buy here in the states.
